Grounds and snow, handled — for one home or a whole portfolio.

Property maintenance and exterior general contracting. For homeowners who want it looked after, and property managers who need it to just get done.

One point of contact

One number, one person who knows your property. No call centre.

Same scope, every visit

What we agreed to is what gets done, whether you're watching or not.

Winter isn't a side line

Snow is a core service with its own contracts, not an add-on.

Two kinds of customer. One standard.

For homeowners

A property that looks cared for every week, and one team to call for the next thing that comes up — gutters in the fall, the driveway in January, the cleanup in spring.

For property managers

Routine competence: the crew shows up, the scope is written down, and someone answers the phone in February. Before you sign with any contractor — us included — ask for:

  • A WSIB clearance certificate
  • A certificate of insurance naming your corporation
  • A written scope with trigger depths and response windows
  • References from properties like yours

Upkeep, bigger jobs, and snow.

The same crew in July and January. You don't have to find a second contractor when the season changes — or when the job gets bigger.

Property maintenance

Grass cutting, cleanups, trees and hedges, and eavestroughs — the recurring work that keeps a property looking cared for.

Ladders against the roofline of a brick raised bungalow during an eavestrough replacement, with a new length of white eavestrough laid out on the lawn

Exterior contracting

Roofing, eavestrough installation, fences and sod — the bigger jobs, quoted line by line.

Snow removal

Driveways, walkways and managed properties in St. Catharines and Thorold, cleared all winter.

Whenever you're calling about snow, we've had that call before.

Most people call in one of three moments. All three get the same answer: a site walk, a written scope, and a spot on the route.

01

Planning ahead

Renewing before the season? Ask for the contract structure, what's included, and how communication works during a storm.

02

First snowfall

Left it late? Call. If there's room on the route, you'll hear when we can start — not a form that goes nowhere.

03

Mid-season switch

Your current contractor missed a storm. Takeovers mid-season are normal: a site walk, a written scope, and you're on the route.

Four steps. Same process for a front lawn or forty doors.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the property

Call or send the form. A rough idea of what you need is enough to start.

  2. 02

    We come and look

A walk of the site with you or your manager, so the quote reflects the actual property.

  3. 03

    You get it in writing

Scope, frequency and price on paper. No pressure, no surprises later.

  4. 04

    We do the work

On the schedule we agreed, with one person you can reach if anything changes.

Locally owned. The person on the phone is on the truck.

Escarpment Contracting is a St. Catharines company doing hands-on exterior work across Niagara. No sales layer between you and the crew — the person who quotes the job is the person who's accountable for it.

Snow removal: St. Catharines — including Merritton, Western Hill, the Haig and Glenridge near Brock University — and Thorold.

Before and after.

Our own jobs, nobody else's. The same spot before we started and after we left.

Before: overgrown grass and weeds covering a side yard and walkway beside a brick house in Welland
before
After: the same Welland side yard cut short, with the concrete walkway cleared and edged along the brick house
after
Overgrown side yard cleared — property cleanup, Welland
Before: a backyard path and lawn buried under fallen yellow and orange leaves, with a garden shed and a wooden retaining wall, in Fonthill
before
After: the same Fonthill backyard with the leaves cleared, the lawn and dirt path uncovered and the ivy beds left tidy
after
Fall leaf cleanup — backyard, Fonthill

Do you work with condo and townhome corporations?

Yes. Managed residential properties are half of what we do. Tell us the property type on the form and we'll quote it as a managed site, not a single home.

Can you take over a snow contract mid-season?

Yes. We'll walk the site, put the scope in writing and add you to the route. This is common in January and February, and it's not a problem.

Do you take one-off jobs, or only contracts?

Both. Seasonal contracts for recurring work like lawn care and snow; one-off jobs for cleanups, roofing, fences and sod.

Where do you work?

St. Catharines (every part of the city), Niagara Falls (Mount Carmel, Chippawa and the Garner Road area), Thorold (Central Thorold, Confederation Heights, Rolling Meadows and Beaverdams), Fonthill, Niagara-on-the-Lake (Old Town, Virgil, Queenston, St. Davids and Glendale) and Welland. Close by and not sure? Ask — it's a quick answer. Snow removal runs in St. Catharines — including Merritton, Western Hill, the Haig and Glenridge near Brock University — and Thorold.

What happens after I send the form?

Someone from the crew — not a call centre — gets back to you to set up a look at the property. Sending the form is a request, not a booking.

Tell us about the property.

A home, a condo corporation, or a list of sites — same form. If it's more than one property, say so and we'll ask for the list.

Anything else to include?

A request, not a booking. No obligation.
